This pin is very similar to others that were issued for Junior Pilots and Junior Hostesses around the same time. I'm not sure if it is truly unique or if the bottom part of this particular pin has simply been sheared off somehow. It doesn't feel rough or jagged, but an ungendered wing would have been very unusual for the time. |
